What types of tests are available at Canadian Specialist Hospital Dubai?

Currently, Coronavirus testing at Canadian Specialist Hospital Dubai are of the following types:

• RT-PCR test: The RT-PCR test or the Reverse transcription-polymerase Chain Reaction is the most accurate test for COVID-19 diagnosis. To detect the presence of virus from the suspect.
• Total Antibody Test (for Chinese travelers): In the antibodies test, the laboratory probe the blood sample of the suspect for possible antibodies that the body may have developed in response to the virus infection. laboratory test for the presence of two types of antibodies, namely, IgM and IgG, each of which appear at different stage of infection.

Where is COVID testing center located in the Canadian Specialist Hospital?

The COVID-19 Test center located in 2^nd basement floor (B2) of the Canadian Specialist Hospital, you will find a dedicated elevator from the ground floor. The test center can accommodate 25 people at a time with all precautionary measures.

How much do COVID tests in Canadian Specialist Hospital cost?

Does Canadian Specialist Hospital provide COVID Test service at Home or Office?

Yes, we do provide COVID Test service at your doorstep:

• For small groups/ families / Corporate members. The required minimum number of members is 15 or more.
• Prior Appointments are mandatory
• Maximum 24 hours for test results from the time Covid-19 test is conducted

How long until I get my COVID test results?

RT-PCR test result will be ready within 24 hours.

Antibody tests typically produce a positive or negative result within 60 minutes. While the outcome is fast, they serve the purpose of merely preliminary tests rather than giving any reliable, substantial result.

What happens after the test result?

Once the test result is out, you will receive a text message on your registered mobile number revealing your result. If you test positive for coronavirus, stay calm, and contact Dubai Health Authority 24/7 through DHA Contact Centre: 800 342 for further clarification on Home/ Institutional Quarantine.
